ANSLEY MERRITT
MORE ABOUT ME
I realized I wanted to pursue a career in graphic design when I was a senior in high school. I was the editor of my schools yearbook and I fell in love with the graphic design process. I designed the yearbook spreads by hand and since then I knew I wanted to pursue a Graphic Communications degree at Clemson University.
In order to complete my program, I was required to work in two internships for different companies. These internships gave me a unique view on the print industry and being in the workforce in general. I accepted a position as the graphics coordinator intern at Printpack in Atlanta, GA. Having this experience shaped my understanding of working for a large corporation, and allowed me to think creatively while still meeting goals. However, after my second internship working for High Spirits Hospitality in Greenville, SC, I found that I had a passion for working with people, which led me to seek opportunities in sales. I was met with challenging situations which pushed me to use my problem solving skills.
Throughout my life, I have always loved being able to use my resources and knowledge in order to help people so their needs can be met. Having a sales job would allow me to fulfill my desire to directly communicate with customers so that they will have an excellent customer experience.
